Everything Changes for Good

We have heard this many times from one or the other person in our life that "Change is the spice of life." I am sure you must have heard that too and some of you might just believe in it too. But how many of you can actually digest something new that comes so easily in your life without knocking your door? I don't think any of you. Even I am afraid of changing a few things in my life or I can say I was afraid, but now, I am really not bothered about it anymore. I had this problem of not letting people leave. I know we cannot force anyone to be with us forever. Its a matter of personal choice. I always wanted to get hold of things and people my way. I know its crazy but that's how I was!

Now what made me write this blog? I had written in my first blog that I relate things and so something happened today which made me relate two or more things. John Steinbeck once wrote,
"Change comes like a little wind that ruffles the curtains at dawn, and it comes like the stealthy perfume of wildflowers hidden in the grass.”

Actually recently some things changed in my life. I have learnt people change even if you care alot about them. They really don't care as they are too selfish. It was hard for me and was kind of depressed for a day or two. Yeah, two precious days of my life yaar! :-) But, soon I let it go as time can heal anything that's what I feel. Also, some things changed at my workout place too and I was really not able to digest them too. Now, I am really fine about it as suddenly I remembered the above quote. Change really comes like a soft breeze and like a sweet scent which soothes us, then why are we afraid of it. We should not fear about it as it's gonna happen no matter what! We cannot stop it from coming hence we should try to figure out things and go with the flow. Things will change with the course of time.

I recovered myself from the biggest change that occurred in my life and now I am happy as ever even without that thing which I used to have all the time. It helped me heal and now I am a changed person because of that. I am happy it happened. I am sure you will be happy too, you just have to accept the change!

Mirror, mirror on the wall! Who is the fairest of them all?

Hello friends,
From the topic itself you must have got the hint about what all I am going to write. Yeah, you guessed it right its about beauty and being beautiful. I read an article in Times life , "Can you ditch make-up for a year?"
After reading the article, snow-white was the first thing which came into my mind. I was wondering whether snow-white was proud of her beauty ? did she ever see her face in the mirror? The answer is no, not at all. No doubt she was beautiful in the fairy tale but it was her simplicity, her innocence which made her beautiful from inside and outside as well.
Now coming to today's generation where women are so obsessed about looking good that they just want to accomplish it at any cost. You can say there is a beauty competition running everywhere in each and every part of the world. One wants to look good in front of others and also from their competitors. Have you ever thought beauty comes from inside? When your heart is full of happiness then your true beautiful self  can be seen in the worldly mirror i.e.,in the eyes of your loved ones and other people.
Nowadays, women cannot live without makeup for an hour, how can they ditch it for a year! Why is it so? Its because of
1. our society where we live,
2. the TV serials which we watch daily in front of the idiot box where the ladies of the house even sleep with their makeups on.
3. The social networking sites also carry full credit and
4. even the magazines related to health and beauty are the culprits.
Basically, women can never be able to avoid themselves from looking into mirror. I remember whenever I had a pimple on my face, I used to gaze at my face in the mirror a thousand times in a day as if a miracle might happen and that pimple would no longer be there. My mother used to scold me for that as she believed that looking your face in the mirror again and again can cause more pimples. But we all know neither of the things can happen miraculously. Its just if we stop looking at it we ll be less worried and stressed and soon in a few days it will go away. simple but no we want to make it worse.
Even I cannot live without my Fair and lovely cream and kajal. These two things are always carried by me no matter what. But one thing I know for sure all the women out there including me cannot live without looking at mirror as its our favorite place. lol
So gals just remember this thing that inner beauty matters alot and it comes from eating healthy, getting less stressed, being happy and drinking loads of water. Once you start doing all this you will start looking gorgeous without any makeup on your face..:-)

Don't lose your temper, nobody wants it.

As the title itself says that this blog is gonna be on short temperament. I have been a very short tempered girl but I have never thrown things as most people do. Yeah, I know I want everyone to be perfect and want them to do things the way I want. Anyway I just wanted to share an incident with you guys. Few days back I quarreled with my brother for a TV serial. I wanted to watch a serial and he wanted to watch the IPL match. He constantly kept asking me for the remote to change the channel and I was feeling so annoyed that I lost my temper and threw the remote on his face. After that I left the room and went to sleep. But believe me I was not able to sleep as I felt guilty for what I did. It was a beastly thing to do. I have never done that in my life. As I always feel this is the thing which makes us different from animals. And I behaved that way. I thought about it a lot and finally decided to apologize for my mistake. Hence, I said sorry to my brother next day in morning. He was surprised to see me that way but it felt so nice I must tell you as if a burden is laden off from your heart. Its truly said that "it feels really good to forgive and being forgiven."

I know many of you must be feeling that it was not a big thing for which a blog can be written. Anyway I just felt that I should share it with you. From that day onward I have promised myself that I wont lose my temper so easily.

"Never do anything when you are in a temper, for you will do everything wrong".

Bye, Bye Pear Shaped Bodies!

Imperfect flabby looking legs are not so cool. Even Bollywood beauty Kareena Kapoor got rid of wobbly thighs and heavy legs. Women tend to gain more weight on their lower bodies, which results in the highly unappealing pear shaped figure. The majority of females facing such problems are generally the ones from high class social status and also the females belonging to castes like Sindhi, Punjabi and many more. Perfectly shaped bodies are what today’s modern women desire! So, if you want to look sexier in those shorts and capris, as summer approaches, it’s time to do something about it and shape up your legs. Who wouldn’t wish to look like Katrina Kaif in her recent flicks?
Some women are naturally predisposed to this condition due to genetic factors. As said earlier some communities like Sindhis and Punjabis face problems like overweight and obesity. Such females should work on their full body and not just legs. Others who don’t suffer from obesity can try some effective spot reduction exercises to get perfectly shaped legs.
Although we know 70% of the result depends on workout, but 30% role is played by diet in making the result more desirable. Hence, one has to be very careful about her diet too. Nutritionists says, “Our dietary calories should be around 1500 per day and that should mainly come from carbohydrates with the remainder from proteins”. Carbohydrates don’t mean high sugar levels but foods with low glycemic content like wheat and wholegrain bread. Foods like maida, sugar and rice should be avoided due to their high glycemic index and hence, these foods are referred as ‘white poisons’. Non-vegetarians can go for chicken, fish and eggs as these are good sources of proteins, whereas vegetarians should opt for pulses and milk. Fat content should not be totally eliminated from diet if one wishes to lose weight, as fats too play a role in metabolism of some vitamins and minerals in the body.
Getting perfectly shaped legs won’t happen overnight. As we all know, “Rome was not built in a day”. Dedication and patience are needed to overcome this problem, but within a month desirable results can be seen. Before starting any workout, one must go for an hour long brisk walking as this will help you in shedding those extra few kilos. The best way to tone your legs is jogging, cycling and step aerobics. After that exercises like lunges, squats, calf raises and wide squats should be done. Alternate sets of front, side and back kicking should be added in the schedule. Once you start losing weight and gaining confidence, you can carry out jumping workout for half an hour which is very effective in tightening the thigh and butt muscles giving them perfect shape.
Precautions should be taken before carrying out the workout. Go for a complete medical checkup and take advice from your doctor. One should practice these exercises only under the guidance of a trained instructor. The whole regime will be very effective if one will seek help of a diet expert, as proper diet and perfect exercise can do wonders. So, ladies are you ready to gear up and shape up those legs?
